Today is that day when the supposedly secular country I live in stops shoving the majority festival down my throat with every purchase, interaction and encounter. If it *weren’t* for the hugely disproportionate commercial response and expected participation, I’d be equally respectful of Christmas traditions as I am of other cultural traditions.
So, as in the last few years, I’m posting this wonderful medley of carols by Straight No Chaser.

Hmmm, seems Warner has removed the original from YouTube so we have to use the MySpace version… There’s a 2008 version on YouTube, but I don’t think it’s quite as good. This one of them rehearsing for the comeback is hysterical, though.
