The reception
We lit a candle together. These were our flowers — they smelled so sweet! — and next to them is a compass from Keith and Ceredwyn in Australia so we always knew where we were.
Then we kissed again. We served far too much food and passed around bucketloads of mead.
Very serious lantern-lighting. Our Moroccan-themed living room.
Andrea; Bruce & Jez
Kate & Chris from Barefoot; Mary from Barefoot (we love our baristas!)
Mike Wecker, an old friend of Doug’s; Natasha & Lars: she’s one of Doug’s exes and a fabulous woman; also our photographer for the night; he’s her fabulous husband and meat-preparer extraordinaire.
Who me? What’d I do? Mr Sweet-and-Innocent. And as you can see from the next image, wickedness runs in the family. Look at the grin on those two.

Oh! I’ve really enjoyed reading your account of the ceremony, and the photos of you both looking so radiantly happy and beautiful!
When you have your Australian ceremony, whether it be in Melbourne or Sydney or where ever – do let me know so I can come and cry tears of joy. I love crying happy tears at weddings. 🙂
So, so happy for you both!
